Newark Stop Hate Crime is working with Nottingham Mencap to put on an event to raise awareness of how to respond to disability hate crime at

on Wednesday 16th March 2022 from 10.30 in the morning to 3 in the afternoon.

It's a drop in event, so there is no need to book a place. A sandwich and fruit lunch will be provided for those who come along to the day. Hot and cold drinks will be available at all times.

Newark Stop Hate Crime will launch the annual poster and video competition for Stop Hate Crime Week later this year at the event.

Funding for the event has been provided by The Police and Crime Commissioner for Nottinghamshire, Nottinghamshire County Council, and the Safer Nottinghamshire Board.
